Hands with Heart

Hands with Heart In-Person

Do you knit or crochet or enjoy no-sew projects?  Are you looking for a purpose for your handiwork beyond your personal projects?

Join a special library group, Hands with Heart. This group uses their talents to support Knitted Knockers (handmade breast prostheses for breast cancer survivors), Project Linus (afghans and no-sew fleece blankets), Hundred Nights Homeless Shelter (socks, mittens, and hats) and Mildred's Mittens (mittens and hats for local school children in Jaffrey).  In other words, they identify projects in need of Hands with Heart -- knitters, crocheters and crafters who have time to give for helping others with their talent and would like to get together at the library each week this fall and winter to work on these special projects.   Join us weekly on Thursday mornings.
