Science Matters: A Book Club for Adults In-Person
Science is present throughout literature, in both fiction and nonfiction. Join us monthly in the Bean Room to discuss this month's selection and the role of science in literature and in our lives. Our monthly discussion will be led by retired physicians, Drs. Ross and Lisa Ramey.
Copies of this month's selection: Poverty, by America by Matthew Desmond, will be available for checkout approximately one month before the meeting. Registration is required.
Drs. Ross and Lisa Ramey are retired family physicians who met and studied at Boston University undergraduate and School of Medicine. After training in Wisconsin, and after Air Force service in North Dakota and Florida, they moved to Jaffrey in 1986, to practice full spectrum, “newborn to nursing home”, family medicine, and to raise their three children. They love science, books , and science books.
