Fairy Tale STEM Club

Fairy Tale STEM Club In-Person

Fairy Tale STEM Club combines the wonder of familiar fairy tales with the hands-on engagement, design principles and problem solving of STEM activities (science, technology, engineering and math).

This new monthly club, at a special time for homeschoolers, will explore a new fairy tale and a new problem to solve each month.  This month's fairy tale is: The Three Little Pigs.

Participants will meet together in the Lab to read this month's story and practice the STEM design principles: Ask, Imagine, Plan, Create and Improve, in a small group setting.

Caregivers are required to stay in the library building, but we encourage children to engage with the program independently. The program will be led by Ms. Claudia, a retired classroom teacher with a master's degree in environmental science and a sincere love of learning.

Ages 7 - 10. Registration required.

Priority registration will be given to cardholders in the Monadnock Regional Library Consortium (Jaffrey, Sharon, Rindge and Marlborough residents).
