Paws & Pages with Henry the Mini-Cavapoo In-Person
Henry, the Reading Dog is making his official Jaffrey Public Library debut in this special Paws & Pages event!
Henry is a Mini-Cavapoo (a King Charles Cavalier + Poodle). Henry has had Therapy Dog Training, loves EVERYONE...humans and other dogs, and has been to the Library many times. Now he is ready to wiggle his way into your hearts.
Join Henry for a story and then practice reading with him, give him pats, do some doggie tricks, and help him feel at home in the library. We will have a doggie craft in the lab after our storytime.
More about Henry: He will be 5 years old on April 24th and weighs about 24lbs. He has his own agility course in his backyard that includes a seesaw, tunnel, slalom training poles and a hoop to jump through. Of course he gets excited when he meets new people, but calms when told to and is not allowed to jump on people.
Henry is very smart and knows some tricks that kids can ask him to do. He is the gentlest, sweetest little guy!
All children are welcome, no registration required.
Caregivers may be asked to participate for children under age 7.
